Symposium topics

A full program of invited speakers, each well known in their respective research fields, is planned to provide coverage of important recent advances in lighting. The list of themes and topics given below is meant simply to indicate the scope of the LS16 conference and not to be restrictive; the refereeing system will judge the appropriateness of any submitted Contributed Paper for inclusion at LS16.

Authors of Contributed Papers regarded by referees as representing particularly notable and interesting work will be offered the opportunity to present their papers orally to the conference as Landmark Papers; otherwise authors of Contributed Papers are expected to prepare a Poster Presentation of their work.  All accepted Contributed Papers will appear in the published LS16 Proceedings Volume.
